MS WORD's default settings will properly format your margins and

indents when you open a new document unless you've changed the default

settings.

Double space everything.  Double space twice between scenes with

in a chapter.

This font is Courier New, 12 point.  Also often recommended is

Times New Roman, 12 point.  Courier New spreads things out more.  Both

are easy to read and won't give the editor eye-strain when reading your

manuscript and plenty of room to edit after they buy your book. (Cont.)
